Chief Financial Officer YMCA of Delaware www.ymcade.org We have been engaged to assist our client, the YMCA of Delaware, in their search for a Chief Financial Officer. The YMCA of Delaware is headquartered in Wilmington, DE, Founded in 1891, the YMCA of Delaware is the state’s largest non-profit organization committed to strengthening local citizens through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. With seven branches statewide, a youth resource center in downtown Wilmington, and an overnight camp and conference center in Worton, Maryland, the Y has developed long-standing relationships and a physical presence in Delaware to deliver lasting personal and social change. Their mission is to empower youth, foster healthy living, and promote strong communities. The YMCA of Delaware is well positioned to continue to serve their community while focusing on their vision of a healthy, inclusive community where all people reach their full potential. The YMCA of Delaware is uniquely positioned to build on its long standing success with new construction happening focused on engaging with the Delaware community. The Chief Financial Officer will report to and work closely with the CEO and be a key member of the Executive Management Team. The CFO will be responsible for all aspects of the Company’s finances and overall management of the Company’s finance and accounting functions, as well as controls, operations and IT. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible financial management roles and a strong leadership record with demonstrated excellence at working with the senior leadership team and Board of Directors in driving strategy and sound business management practices. He/she should be proactive and a hands-on leader with proven experience collaborating with all business units of a company in a decentralised environment. CPA and/or MBA is preferred. Compensation will consist of base salary in the $175K + range.
