Training Coordinator Now Accepting Applications The U.S. Department of State is currently accepting applications for a Training Coordinator, located in Washington, DC. The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) is under the Under Secretary for Democracy and Human Rights and works to keep Americans safe at home by countering international crime, illegal drugs, and instability abroad. INL helps countries deliver justice and fairness by strengthening their police, courts, and corrections systems. INL’s Office of Knowledge Management (INL/KM) provides training and support to INL program offices to keep Americans safe by countering crime, illegal drugs, and instability abroad by addressing the full range of criminal justice issues as they relate to foreign assistance development programs globally. INL/KM assists INL in developing strategic partnerships with U.S. state, county, municipal, and federal law enforcement, justice sector, and corrections agencies and institutions to bring up-to-date and relevant expertise to bear in INL programs. The purpose of this Personal Services Contract is to fill the position of INL Training Coordinator (TC). The TC is responsible for the design, development, delivery and evaluation of a comprehensive and tailored pre-deployment training program(s) for INL. The TC is primarily responsible for training INL’s police, corrections, and justice foreign assistance trainers and advisors deploying to assignments in INL programs. . This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract position. You do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position.
