World Trade Center Delaware hosts panel on selling "Made in USA" products overseas "Made in USA" is a label recognized the world over, but if you're a distributor or manufacturer planning to bid on business with a federal agency that complies with "Made in USA" standards, you need to know the law behind the label. That's one of the issues for discussion as four expert panelists appear at World Trade Center Delaware's seminar "Complying with Made in USA Standards." The panel will also discuss how to protect intellectual property with patents, copyrights and trademarks, the importance of proper labeling for military/aerospace sales, and other advantages and pitfalls associated with selling "Made in USA" products overseas. Panelists include Melissa Pinheiro, the corporate compliance manager for BDP International Inc.; Janet E. Reed, a partner at Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP, Katrice Kelly, the industry negotiations team lead for the Office of Trade Negotiations and Analysis at the U.S. Department of Commerce; and Nasim Sadr-Fala, director of sales of DIMO Corp.
